The article explores the technical framework, application value, and implementation path of basin digital twin models, providing a new perspective for flood prevention, disaster reduction, and sustainable development in the Yangtze River Basin.

The article points out that digital twins are not only technological tools but also innovations in basin governance paradigms. Cutting-edge technologies such as digital twins and artificial intelligence will support the digital and intelligent construction of river basins, providing precise decision-making support and scientific basis for the coordinated advancement of high-quality development and ecological protection in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
