Associate Researcher, Master’s Supervisor, and Assistant Dean at Sichuan University; Member of the International Society for Integrated Disaster Risk Management (IDRiM); Distinguished Young Expert of the Disaster Reduction Center of Sichuan Provincial Department of Emergency Management; Expert of the Technical Group for the First National Natural Hazard Risk Survey of Sichuan Province; one of the core initiators of the International Network for Natech (INN). He received his Doctoral degree in Urban Social Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan, in 2021. He possesses an interdisciplinary academic background spanning geography, software engineering, civil engineering, and urban management. His long‑term research covers Natech accident risk assessment and management, natural disaster risk assessment and management, geographic information technology, disaster big‑data technology, integrated disaster risk, and hazard‑inducing mechanisms of grassland fires. He has accumulated years of research experience in the governance of integrated disaster risks and the development and improvement of resilience systems. In recent years, he has participated in more than 10 emergency response missions for major natural disasters across Sichuan Province. He has published over ten academic papers and monographs, presided over 1 sub‑project of a key R&D program and 3 provincial‑ministerial‑level projects, and taken part in more than 10 horizontal projects and National Natural Science Foundation projects. He has been awarded honors such as Outstanding Academic Achievement and Outstanding Young Researcher at multiple domestic and international conferences.
