Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Research Fellow, Master's Supervisor. Graduated from the Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences & Ministry of Water Resources in 2022 (major: Geotechnical Engineering). Conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Tsinghua University from 2023 to 2026. Research focuses on disaster geography, disaster remote sensing (remote sensing image processing algorithms), and cryospheric disasters, with particular interest in the formation and evolution mechanisms of potential glacier hazard chain mega-disasters in high-altitude mountainous regions (Tibetan Plateau), and the development of new theories and methods for advanced risk identification. Selected for the International Organization IRDR Young Scientist Program. Has published 45 academic papers in authoritative remote sensing and disaster journals, with 14 as first/corresponding author. Served as guest editor for the Remote Sensing special issue on "Cryospheric Hazard Remote Sensing," and as a reviewer for top remote sensing and disaster journals including Remote Sensing of Environment, ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and Engineering Geology.

Cultivation of talents
Serves as a Master's supervisor in Safety Science and Disaster Mitigation. Teaches "3S Technology and Applications," and participates in teaching graduate and doctoral courses including "Introduction to Comprehensive Disaster Science" and "Frontiers in Safety Science and Disaster Mitigation."
We welcome students with backgrounds in Physical Geography, Remote Sensing and Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science (Machine Learning/Deep Learning) to apply for Master's programs. The research group focuses on the formation, evolution, and trend prediction of glacier hazard chains in High Mountain Asia, maintaining close collaborative relationships with domestic and international peers at Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), and the University of Potsdam.
