日本京都大学工学博士，四川大学灾害管理与重建学院专职博士后，专业都市社会工学，主要研究内容为自然灾害引发工业灾害（Natech）风险评价与管理，空间信息技术在灾害管理领域中的应用，空间信息系统的设计与开发等。曾参与两门本科生课程的授课。先后参与十二五项目两项，自然科学基金三项，以及多项其他省部级项目。曾多次在国内国际会议获得优秀学术成果，优秀青年研究者等奖项。
