Di Baofeng is a professor at Institute for Disaster Management and Reconstruction, Sichuan University, China. He holds a PhD from Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He was a visiting scholar inUniversity of California Davis, and a senior visiting scholar in RWTH Aachen University and ICIMOD. His research interests are mainly focusing on Geo-hazards risk assessment,Emergency management information system and Disaster Data Science by Geographic information system, Remote sensing and Machine learning. He published over 80 articles or book chapters.
