四川大学教授、博士生导师，国家社科基金重大项目首席专家，四川省学术和技术带头人，四川省“天府青城计划”天府社科菁英，四川省系统工程学会秘书长，成都市应急管理学会副会长，伦敦国王学院访问学者，灾害领域高水平国际期刊Environmental Hazards编委。面对2008年汶川地震、2013年芦山地震、2017年九寨沟地震、2020年新冠疫情等重大突发事件，持续开展灾害应急管理研究。就重大突发事件对经济社会系统的影响及对策研究，主持国家社科基金重大项目，国家自科基金面上项目、青年项目，教育部人文社科青年项目，四川省社科基金重点项目、四川省软科学项目等国省级课题10余项；以一作/通讯作者发表SCI、SSCI、CSSCI论文40余篇，在中国社会出版社、科学出版社、Springer、Taylor & Francis出版专著4部（合著）；以主要完成人获得国家级教学成果二等奖2项，教育部社科优秀成果二等奖1项，四川省社科优秀成果一等奖3项、二等奖1项。

研究方向及重点选题：社会力量参与防灾减灾救灾，基层应急管理及预警响应行为，韧性减灾及城市、双链韧性评估。
