四川大学教授、博士生导师,国家社科基金重大项目首席专家,四川省学术和技术带头人,四川省“天府青城计划”天府社科菁英,四川省系统工程学会秘书长,成都市应急管理学会副会长,伦敦国王学院访问学者,灾害领域高水平国际期刊Environmental Hazards编委。面对2008年汶川地震、2013年芦山地震、2017年九寨沟地震、2020年新冠疫情等重大突发事件,持续开展灾害应急管理研究。就重大突发事件对经济社会系统的影响及对策研究,主持国家社科基金重大项目,国家自科基金面上项目、青年项目,教育部人文社科青年项目,四川省社科基金重点项目、四川省软科学项目等国省级课题10余项;以一作/通讯作者发表SCI、SSCI、CSSCI论文40余篇,在中国社会出版社、科学出版社、Springer、Taylor & Francis出版专著4部(合著);以主要完成人获得国家级教学成果二等奖2项,教育部社科优秀成果二等奖1项,四川省社科优秀成果一等奖3项、二等奖1项。
研究方向及重点选题:社会力量参与防灾减灾救灾,基层应急管理及预警响应行为,韧性减灾及城市、双链韧性评估。
