主要从事滑坡、泥石流等地质灾害成因机理与风险防控研究。中国科学院研究生院自然地理学博士学位,先后在长安大学、香港理工大学、英国纽卡斯尔大学从事博士后研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金重大项目课题、国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金等项目。获陕西省科学技术进步奖一等奖(R8)、陕西省青年“科技新星”,中共陕西省普通高校首届“青年杰出人才”等称号。
